I found Barbara to be very engaging and super encouraging to my son. She came prepared and dove right in! She has a great personality as my son observed and she's fun. He regarded her very bright personality and I think this was important to him. I loved her approach and we look forward to meeting with her weekly! Thank you Barbara!

My son has been working wth Barbara K. for a couple of weeks so far. He seems to be very happy & excited about going to tutoring. I think it's partially the environment as well as the way he is being taught that he is comfortable & happy to go. He's the kind of child that has to warm up a little but once he is comfortable he is easy to work with. I am seeing an improvement in his reading it seems to be more clear, words are being blended more easily and he seems less apprehensive when I tell him its time to read a book at home. Which I think is because he is building a comfort level and is starting to feel more confident. Which I am very pleased with. His math is improving, I know that with more one on one and practice he will soon feel more confident in that area as well! I look forward to continue working with Barbara K. And watching him improve in his work and become more confident when new material is introduced to him!
